2015 Tuscaloosa Air Show

Had an awesome birthday at the good old Tuscaloosa Air Show again. This was my 4th time to go this event. I have faithfully attended this event since it started 2009. So get ready for none other than some very spectacular photos. The highlights for me were seeing the B-17, B-25, F-86, F-22 and of course the Navy Blue Angels!!!

  • Now get ready for what I think is the greatest fighter plane WWII ever had as far as I'm concerned.
  • The P-51 Mustang!!!

  • This is the aircraft that escorted the B-17 Bombers in and out of Germany.

  • Always loved seeing this plane strut it's stuff in every WWII fighter plane movie I could get my hands on.
  • Okay now we're going to move along into the Jet Age!
  • I present to you the F-86 Sabre!
  • This was not a supersonic jet but it was much faster than any piston engine aircraft we had in WWII.
  • This first time jet would be ushered into the Korean War.
  • It would go head to head against the enemy Mig-17.
  • The kill ratio was 10-1 in the Korean War conflict.

  • Now we're going to see the raw power and agility of the F-22 Raptor! My very first time to photograph a stealth fighter! This is an aircraft that can't be seen on radar.
