Moon Project (Updated January 28th, 2021)

Bought a new camera to celebrate 10 years of J.G. Fine Art Photography. I became the proud owner of the Nikon P900 point and shoot with an 83x zoom that lets you see the moon. Tried out tonight and it worked!

Here's a couple of yellow-ish pictures of the moon. I think it could pass for Harvest moon. This one was taken Friday night.

• First full moon photo opportunity I got last night. I hope to get to see the super moon we're supposed to see tonight.
• Taken Sunday evening while we finally had some clear skies without storms. etc. I heard we had a couple of super moons to occur this month but couldn't find it because of the storms we kept having.
• My view of the elipse from my house. First time photographing this with my new Nikon P900 camera I got last summer.
• Eclipse photo 2
• Not sure what was going with the moon last night. I promise I didn't "photoshop" this or use any lens filters.
• A new year! A new moon! Kinda has a harvest look to it.
• A new half moon I saw last night on my way home from work.
• Thanksgiving Moon taken last night
• Witchy Moon - I like the cloud effect. All I needed now was a witch on a broomstick to fly by...LOL
• Pre-Halloween Full Moon

Had a good clear crisp night to photograph this full moon.
• This time I decided to photograph the moon holding the camera vertical with a half moon. I like this perspective the best so far. Definitely worthy of framing
• Same picture but I flipped it to give the perspective of how they astronauts saw the moon upon approach.

This reminds of me of the footage we see when Apollo 8 made it's approach and then made the Christmas Eve speech.

This Christmas Eve will mark 50 years when that happened.
• Quarter Moon
• Close-up
• Almost Half Moon
• Frame up shot
• Unedited shot

• This was taken on Saturday (9/22) as the moon came out a larger that evening. Just had to take a picture. I like how it centered it up perfectly in the shot.
• The full moon for 2020 - Happy New Year!
