Spent a weekend having much needed camera therapy in Walker County, Railroad Park, UAB Area and Highland Avenue. I will add more photos as I see new inspiration soon.

Well once again, I had to visit my favorite area of Highland Avenue by Rhodes Park. I always love the trees and these townhouses here. To me this is the American Dream of living. I was rich enough. I live in this area in a heartbeat.

  • Now how's this for some drama? Now this photo really creeped me out a little when I started to do some editing. I love the lighting and reflections in this picture a lot.
  • A close-up of the entrance with the double lamp post. Love those trees on both sides.
  • Just one more lamp post (wide shot)

  • Well I finally got the wind to cooperate with me. This flag is located at a retirement community across the street from the Donnelly House on Highland Avenue. Look at that "Old Glory" wave!
  • One more wave from "Old Glory".
  • Even found a few remnants of spring still hanging on.
  • Just look at this close-up of the flower. I love the details in this picture a lot.
  • Wide photo of the flowers I found.
  • Independent Presbyterian Church on Highland Avenue. I did a little light magic on the steeple. Always seeing this church at night. I go here on Sunday evenings for worship.<br />

This was my first time going to worship here again after being closed for months due to the Covid-19 crisis. I brought my camera with me as I've been wanting to get a picture of this beautiful church at night.
  • Ramsey High School and the falling leaves
  • Fall in the "Ham" is still hanging on. Check out these bright yellow leaves I saw on a tree on 20th Street about a block from UAB Sparks Center.
  • Untitled photo
  • I'm going to call this one "Fire Leaves" as you can see a lot of red and orange here.
