A Sunday Grazing

  • Well, let's start the journey in Walker County! This is a farm located near a church (Dutton Hill Missionary Baptist Church) I've been going to with some friends I know. In these first set of photos I took some pictures of this is huge tree that sits in the middle of a pasture.
  • I have to say I like this one the best just because of the lighting effect I got here. It's like a transition of the light because of the sun's position. This was taken in the morning hours.

  • Okay in this next set of photos I go to the old school area of UAB in Birmingham. This is an area I have done several shoots and it never never gets old.

  • I think I like this one the best as I used the monochrome feature on the camera to give that old photograph feel. I love it they preserved this section of the hospital.

  • At Railroad Park which just celebrated 10 years now. Wow! I can still remember 20 years old ago how it used to be a dump in this area and now the transformation to better things.
  • I don't know the name of this house located on Highland Avenue about a block from the legendary Donnelly House but I just love how this house can look so spooky especially with that gate. As you see the gate has had some work done.
  • Here's the house again from a photo shoot I did in 2014 before the gate was worked on. I like the old rustic feel the gate had at that time.
