1. Airplanes

J.G. Photography presents: Wings Over North Georgia!

Enjoy this very fine collection of aircraft displays and demonstration featuring the Air Force Thunderbirds! Dedicated to the memory of Leonard F. Goike (my grandfather). He was in the Air Force. He served as a tailgunner in WWII. I only met him a few times in my life. However I was very fortunate to hear some of his stories which only filled my love for aviation even more. I always called him "Grandpa Goike".

  • Here are the bunks where the crews of the C-17 take their rest periods. On long flights of 15 plus hours. They often have more than one pilot to fly during the rest breaks.
